Technical Description
The Air Command features a 42.5 mm titanium case with a thickness of about 13.7 mm, giving it substantial wrist presence while staying lightweight and comfortable. It is paired with a bidirectional rotating blue ceramic bezel with countdown scale, pump pushers, and a sapphire display back, and is rated to approximately 30 m of water resistance.
Its sunray blue dial uses a bi‑compax layout with 30‑minute and 12‑hour chronograph counters, luminous Arabic numerals, and a tachymeter scale around the periphery for timing speed over distance. Powering the watch is Blancpain’s automatic calibre F388B, a 5 Hz column‑wheel flyback chronograph movement offering roughly 50 hours of power reserve, vertical clutch engagement, silicon balance spring, and a propeller‑style rotor visible through the sapphire back. The watch is fitted to a blue calfskin leather strap with contrasting stitching and a folding clasp, reinforcing its sporty pilot character while remaining versatile enough for daily wear.
