Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date “Plasma” Limited Edition 1-37-02-20-02-63
This Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date “Plasma” is one of Glashütte Original’s boldest vintage-inspired releases, pairing German high horology with a vibrant matte purple dial. Limited to just 100 pieces worldwide and powered by the in-house calibre 37-02 flyback chronograph, it’s a collectible modern classic with real scarcity built in. Offered here on the black rubber strap with full box and papers, it’s a perfect choice for collectors who want color, character, and serious technical content in a single 40 mm piece.
Condition: Pre-owned; from the photos, the watch presents in excellent overall condition with crisp case lines, clean dial, and minimal visible wear to the rubber strap.image.
Set & Documentation: Complete set including Glashütte Original inner and outer box, guarantee card, registration documents, Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date booklet, and hangtag, together with the watch on its original black rubber strap.
Limited Edition: Part of a numbered limited series of 100 pieces worldwide in the “Plasma” violet dial configuration.
The watch features Glashütte Original’s signature Seventies cushion case in stainless steel, measuring 40 x 40 mm with softly rounded corners and a combination of brushed and polished surfaces. It offers 10 bar (100 m) water resistance and an integrated chronograph pusher layout, with a sapphire crystal up top and a sapphire display back to showcase the movement.
The matte purple “Plasma” lacquer dial delivers a distinctive, modern-retro look, with applied baton markers, black chronograph subdials, luminous hands and markers, and the brand’s hallmark Panorama Date at 6 o’clock for excellent legibility. Inside is the in-house automatic calibre 37-02, an integrated flyback chronograph with approximately 70-hour power reserve, small seconds, 30‑minute and 12‑hour counters, power reserve indication, and Glashütte three‑quarter plate with striping and skeletonized rotor. This example is mounted on the factory matte black rubber strap with folding clasp, giving the watch a sporty, contemporary wrist presence that complements the bold dial.
