The Desert Edition uses a 43 mm satin‑brushed stainless‑steel Bathyscaphe case, approximately 14.2 mm thick, with sapphire crystal, sapphire display back, 300 m water resistance (30 bar), and a brown ceramic unidirectional bezel with Liquidmetal numerals. Its graduated sandy‑beige sunburst dial features applied rectangular markers, day‑date at 3 o’clock, a contrasting chapter ring with Arabic numerals at 5‑minute intervals, and luminescent hands/indices that glow strongly in low light.


Inside is Blancpain’s in‑house automatic calibre 1315DD, a 4 Hz movement with three mainspring barrels delivering a 120‑hour (five‑day) power reserve, silicon balance spring, and day‑date complication visible through the sapphire caseback.
