Technical Description

The 40mm stainless steel case is classically proportioned, with a double-stepped bezel, slim polished lugs, and a fluted Blancpain crown — a silhouette that wears far smaller than its diameter suggests thanks to its restrained thickness. The silver dial is layered for visual depth: applied polished Roman numerals frame the chapter ring, a recessed inner track carries the retrograde date scale from 1 to 31, and the central time display is anchored by leaf-shaped polished hands. A signed blue retrograde date hand sweeps elegantly across the lower portion of the dial before snapping back at month-end — a small theater of mechanical engineering on every cycle.


Flip the watch over and a sapphire caseback reveals Blancpain's automatic in-house movement with a finely finished gold rotor and engraved bridges, true to the Villeret line's manufacture pedigree. The watch is presented on a black alligator strap with a signed Blancpain steel pin buckle — the perfect finishing touch for a watch built to slip discreetly under a French cuff.
