The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Automatic Q9008480 is JLC’s modern sports‑chic all‑rounder, inspired by the 1968 Memovox Polaris but distilled down to a clean, time‑only execution. With its 41 mm stainless‑steel case, rich blue gradient dial, and brown calfskin strap, it delivers a versatile mix of vintage dive cues and contemporary finishing that works just as well on leather as it does on an optional rubber or bracelet. This 2021 example is pre‑owned, in excellent condition, and comes with its original box, papers, and JLC warranty valid through July 11, 2029, giving the next owner years of factory backing.

Technical Description
The Polaris Automatic uses a 41 mm stainless‑steel case with mixed brushed and polished surfaces, strong tapered lugs, and dual crowns on the right side—one for time setting and one for the internal rotating timing bezel. At around 11–11.3 mm thick and roughly 47.5 mm lug‑to‑lug, it wears flat and balanced on the wrist while still offering 100 m of water resistance and sapphire crystals front and back. The see‑through caseback reveals JLC’s in‑house calibre and fine movement finishing.

The blue dial layers sunray, grained, and opaline finishes to create depth, with applied Arabic numerals at the cardinal points, baton indices, and bold, lume‑filled hands for strong legibility day or night. The inner rotating rehaut allows timing of a dive or everyday tasks while keeping the bezel protected under the crystal, reinforcing the watch’s sporty intent. Powering the watch is Jaeger‑LeCoultre’s automatic calibre 898E/1, beating at 4 Hz with approximately a 40‑hour power reserve, stop‑seconds, and unidirectional winding with ceramic rotor bearings designed for long‑term durability. It comes fitted to a brown calfskin strap with contrasting stitching and a JLC folding clasp, with an additional strap included.
