Technical Description

The 40mm Oyster case is executed in Rolex's signature two-tone configuration — 904L stainless steel paired with 18k Everose gold — with brushed surfaces, polished chamfers, and a screw-down Twinlock crown protected by signature crown guards. Topping the case is the watch's defining feature: a bidirectional 24-hour rotating bezel set with a black and brown Cerachrom (ceramic) insert, with the numerals and graduations PVD-coated in gold for crisp, lasting contrast.


The black lacquer dial is pure GMT-Master II tool-watch language: applied Chromalight hour markers, Mercedes hands, a rose gold-tone GMT hand, and a Cyclops-magnified date at 3 o'clock. Lume on this watch is exceptional — the night shot shows just how strong the modern Chromalight glow really is. Inside beats Rolex's caliber 3285, a Superlative Chronometer-certified automatic GMT movement with independently adjustable local hour hand and approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The watch sits on a matching two-tone Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink 5mm comfort extension — a daily-driver Rolex with serious presence and serious capability.
